About Robyn

I’m passionate about working with couples, parents, and families to navigate their unique challenges. I strive to create an open, safe environment where everyone feels heard and respected. I also work with divorcing parents to help them create thoughtful, child-focused parenting plans.

I offer individual therapy for teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, self-harm, relationship difficulties, and LGBTQ+ issues. I believe in the importance of creating a strong therapeutic bond and using a strengths-based approach to help my clients improve their well-being.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and my bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Swarthmore College. I have a professional background in copywriting and journalism and have been published in a number of magazines and newspapers, most recently Arlington Magazine and The Washington Post.

Professional trainings and certifications:

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), The Gottman Institute

  • Fundamentals of Parenting Coordination, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts
