Anxiety Therapy

“WE DON’T HAVE TO DO ALL OF IT ALONE.  WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO.”
-BRENÉ BROWN

It’s natural to feel anxious from time to time. Truly, anxiety is no different than any of the other emotions we feel, like joy or sadness.

But anxiety can also feel very different, especially because it affects both mind and body. Emotionally, anxiety can leave you feeling on edge and worried, or with racing or panicky thoughts. Physically, you might notice discomfort - anxiety can affect our physical health and can be damaging to our physical health if left untreated.

When anxiety becomes dysfunctional, therapy can help. In the context of a therapeutic relationship, it's possible to learn about the source of anxiety, tools to address and change our response to anxiety. There is hope; we don't have to live in distress. Reach out for a therapist - we're here to help.
