Couples Therapy

Many people are skeptical of couples counseling. Perhaps they feel it’s only for couples on the verge of divorce or maybe they worry they’ll be outnumbered or feel ganged up on in therapy. But while the issues that lead a couple to seek help can be painful, the therapy process can be positive, productive, and even fun!

Our approach to couples therapy is welcoming and inclusive. Our therapists strive to create an open, safe environment where each partner feels heard and respected. Using an eclectic approach tailored to each couple, we help clients navigate their unique challenges at any stage of their relationship. Our couples therapists have training in the Gottman Method and in working with issues related to infidelity and substance use.

Robyn Gearey, LMSW has a special interest in working with individuals or couples facing challenges relating to divorce and co-parenting.
